Aunque la luz no puede tocarse, pues carece de sustancia, sí puede percibirse a partir de una interpretación.

Así me sucedió a mí en el Panteón de Agripa, Roma. Crucé la columnata y accedí al interior y allí lo entendí de un solo golpe. Un golpe muy fuerte. La luz. Un pilar de luz, la cual viaja a 300.000 kilómetros por segundo, pero cuando cruza el óculo, parece que decide frenarse. Quiere acariciar el hormigón del interior de la cúpula y descender por él, rozar las hojas de acanto de una columna corintia y finalmente tocar el mármol del pavimento para terminar siendo un círculo casi perfecto.
